CASA for KIDS is Awarded Certification CASA for KIDS is pleased to announce that the program has been awarded certification by the National CASA Association. This certification recognizes compliance with National CASA's high standards of quality child advocacy. This is a thorough assesment process that the program must complete every four years. It includes 450 items that address areas such as program administration, mission, evaluation, volunteer and staff management. According to Michael Piraino, CEO of National CASA, "The National CASA quality assurance process is very rigorous and reflects our commitment to ensure every child we serve has the most powerful volunteer advocate working on their behalf. This certification says CASA for KIDS has demonstrated to us a strong capacity to provide excellent services to the abused and neglected children within their community." CASA Training Class Congratulations to our new volunteers who recently completed the CASA pre-service training this Spring! We are currently conducting a Spring/Summer 2010 class and will be offering a fall 2010 class later this year, so give us a call at (440) 279-1699 and download the application if you are interested!
