Friends of CASA for KIDS of Geauga County is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization that was formed in July 2002 for the purpose of supporting advocacy for abused and neglected children. Friends works to increase public awareness of the existence and severity of child abuse and neglect in our own communities. Friends raises funds to help meet the needs of children whose families are in our juvenile court system. Friends sole reason for existence is to make a positive difference in the lives of children.

In 2008, Friends of CASA expended almost 10 thousand dollars for CASA volunteer training, recognition and support and over 11 thousand dollars for enrichment activities (i.e. camp, art lessons, tutoring) for 45 children served by CASA.
