Volunteer Appreciation Event - May 2009

On May 14th, CASA for KIDS, with support from Friends of CASA, held their annual Volunteer Appreciation Event at Bass Lake Taverne. In attendance were Judge Charles Henry, the CASA staff, Friends of CASA Board members and almost half of our 60+ CASA volunteers. Congratulations to Louise Brick and Dotty Ciciretto who were chosen as this year's Volunteers of the Year. Louise has been a CASA for 12 years and has served over 15 children. She also serves on the Friends of CASA Board. Dotty has been a CASA for over 3 years and has served 11 children. Also recognized was Brittian Paul who received the Community Advocate of the Year award. Brittian is the Director of the Sex Abuse and Mental Health Departments of Ravenwood Mental Health Center.
